For as long as I can remember I have loved to cook! My Persian Granny's Kitchen was my favourite place.
After years of my friends joking about my home being 'Jilah's Restaurant'
I finally opened my own Cafe Bar in 2014 when I took over the ground floor of an old enormous Pub in my local town and turned it into The Butterfly House at The Torrs
We served only food that was made 'in-house', from scratch and according to my own personal recipes.

interpretations of
established British
recipes as well as the
Middle Eastern
flavours.
I even had Jeremy
Paxman and his
production team come
for lunch whilst they
were filming in the area!
